Jericho

Jericho is a place every Christian will experience in their walk with Christ. It is the place where spiritual warfare is continuous - a place where you are troubled on every side. Jericho is where the battle takes place just before you cross over to Jordan, your victory. The devil wants to steal your blessings and your miracles before you even get them. Jericho is where those battles take place. You may be battling right now with your job, a family situation, a financial situation, or an attack against your ministry. Whatever the battle, you already have victory over satan. The price was paid at Calvary. When you’re in the fire and you’re being fought on all sides, hold on cause victory is right around the corner! Don’t give up because you are tired and weary. Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “ Seek God for rest in your mind when it’s racing a thousand miles a minute. Speak the word out loud constantly as your “ammunition” against satan and his demons. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” It doesn’t say we won’t encounter troubles, but it does say we have the “power over all the power of the enemy…” and that means the troubles won’t hurt us. Trade your frustration for joy in the fact the battle is already won. Nehemiah 8:10 “…for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Holy joy gives us strength against those fiery darts the enemy is constantly shooting towards us, causing our focus to shift from victory to defeat. It is imperative to plead the blood of Jesus over your mind constantly. This helps to keep you moving in the right direction, never looking towards the left or right, but straight ahead. Never hope for victory, ALWAYS EXPECT victory.
Don’t lose faith, because that opens the door for doubt. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith..” Remember, God loves you and He will NEVER leave you.
